Wood Capitol was founded in 2012 from founder Anthony mutual passion for its beautiful Live Edge wood to conceptualize the creation of sustainable table tops curated from expensive wood slabs at affordable prices. With a team of over 30 years combined experience in the solid wood carpentry industry. All wood slabs are kiln dried and vacuum pressured at our facilities in China and Indonesia at a moisture content of not more than 12% to prevent warping and we offer a 30-year guarantee against warping, fungi and termites, a testimonial of the confidence we have in our products.
In-house formulated Nano coatings which makes our furniture stain and water resistant without the use of coasters.
In support of WWF initiatives of achieving fair wages in South America and Indonesia, we only use sustainable legal wood and for every tree cleared for redevelopment, we replant 20 trees in the area and generate carbon credits.
We deal directly with our consumers without going through any intermediaries so we make savings throughout the entire production process which we then pass on to you. Our objective is to make what you want and need without the exploitative price point.
